Last weekend I went to the cinema to see the fantastic movie Yves Saint Laurent for the second time, this time with Ms. Berliner, Ms. Bjerre Bruun, Mr. Freidal and Mr. Graae.
The movie has the most amazing mood carry by the cinematography and the soundtrack make by the Lebanese born Ibrahim Maalouf a great trumpet player and composer. He is a pioneer within contemporary jazz using his classic training and arab roots to make a fusion of pop, soul, electro and French chansons.
Together with this his albums Illusions (2013), Wind (2012), Diagnotic (2011), Diachromish (2009) and his debut Diasporas (2007) will be part of my soundtrack the coming months.
