First Fair SS15 – Berlin

It is quite a while since Boozt made us self present at a international fair, so we decided to make it clear that we are one of the fastest growing pure players in the Nordics a the Berlin fairs this summer. So Tuesday morning we toke off with Air Berlin from Copenhagen Ms. Andreassen, Ms. Dabrynskaya, Ms. Beakmark, Ms. Fröjd Brizic, Ms. Olsen, Ms. Søe Larsen, Mr. van Koppen, Mr. Barbir, Mr. Lindeborg, Mr. Videbæk and my self meeting Ms. Åman Afrouz, Mr. Petterson arriving from Stockholm  and Mr. Bruun Famme whom had spend the weekend in the City. We arrived in a very hot and rainy city and my normally favorite private driver add Uber not living up to my previous experiences, so ind 4 taxis to our home the next days the nhow hotel Berlin it to the saying “pretty in pink” to a new level and not in my liking, but well located and super service minded staff help on this nightmare in pink.

After having breakfast we all toke the U-Bahn to the Bread and Butter fair this fair has always been balancing on a knife edge for me between being one big party or a super cool environment to spot new brands and networking with the business. This time it was neither expect for with some of our key Danish partners and good meeting with new potential Danish partners that we also could have meet during Copenhagen Fashion Week. The fair ended in a thunderstorm, so it was hard to get back to the hotel. The evening was spilt up in three Ms. Åman Afrouz and Mr. Petterson had dinner with the team from Tiger of Sweden that we launch on Boozt in a couple of weeks, Ms. Beakmark and Ms. Fröjd Brizic had dinner with Minimum and rooftop drinks with DK Company, the rest of us had a quick dinner at hipster hotel Michelberger before watching Germany beating Brazil in the World Cup.

Wedensday was far more interesting visiting the Premium International Fashion Trade Show and sister fair Seek both with a strong international mix of brands and improving for the with every visits. We had interesting talks with both present and possible new partners. Ms. Åman Afrouz and Mr. Petterson a great fans of Seek and find it perfect for network and spotting coming commercial opportunities.
