Last week I had the great opportunity to join two of my partners in crime from the great buying and merchandising team at Boozt Mr. Andersen for a couple of partner meetings and Ms. Søe Larsen just for a airport wait and a ride home from Stockholm.
That made me remember what gives us the possibility to make e-commerce magic and why we often succeed – Diversity.
The way we are at our best – Respect, learning and growthing from each other’s expertise and competences. One team with diversity not only in buying and merchandising but within all the teams at Boozt, platform, marketing, e-commerce, finance, customer service, product team, logistics and administration like cogwheels running a clock if you remove one the clocks stops.
So remember even the smallest cogwheel missing stops the clock and even the greatest genius can’t work alone, they will often lack very simple still and therefore are more reliable on others to make their genius work or the will just turnout to be a person will a crazy idea.
