Today is the opening day of the “Irving Penn: Centennial” at The Metropolitan Museum of Art the larges retrospective exhibition ever made of Mr. Irving Penn work showcasing his diversity in his nearly 70 year long career. I been a fan before I knew since I was a teenager having a print of one of the stunning black and white fashion photographs of Ms. Lisa Fonssagrives-Penn his wife on my wall. I remember his flower images inspiring us at Magasin du Nord for a Spring campaign.
