Daily Inspiration – April 2017

I January I treated myself to an amazing gift a lithographic work by one of my favourite artist Ms. Cathrine Raben Davidsen bought at Edition Copenhagen a world renowned lithographic workshop and showroom close to my home in Christianshavn. In the course of buying one of the partners Mr. Wissing Sørensen asked if I would be interested in hosting a presentation of the workshop and showroom, I though that it would be a great way introduce some of the inspiring and interesting people I known to each other in a different way and also a possibility to bring a large group together. So I asked Mr. Monchamp from Det Franske Vinkort (The French Winemenu) to join and the first Kunst & Champagne (Art & Champagne) was planned.
Yesterday we had a inspiring morning learning about the history and technique of lithographic and the chance to take a closer look to some of the artist that have been visiting the workshop, some even bought new pieces for their collections. We also got the change to tast some of the stunning organic champagne from the house of Durdon-Bouval.
