This years “Årets Reumert” the Danish award for Performing Arts, moved back to The Danish Royal Theater at Kongens Nytorv and for the first time as a show with a storyline directed by last year winner for best director Ms. Minna Johannesson.

The award founded by “Bikubenfonden” in 1998 supports the performing arts in Denmark with 26 awards in different categories, 10 of the are especially for new talent and one is a honorary award given to a person that for a period of time has greeted the arts and audience with inspiration and outstanding performance. This year the award also got a new statuette by artist Mr. John Kørner.

The last two years I have been so lucky to escort my dear friend Ms. Karen Dollerup to the award show, but somehow we forgot to plan it this year and what a mistake. I had to see the show online and it was a great show with Mr. Andreas Jebro another friend in a key role and also a award winner for best supporting actor for his part in “Den Spanske Flue” the Spanish Fly.
