Copenhagen Fashion Week starts Sunday and to set off the week the music for this Friday is inspired by the first Sphing/Summer 2015 show I saw in early July with the amazing Ms. Hillingsø in Berlin after the Dorothee Schumacher Show we had that fantastic sushi at Dudu. During lunch Sugar Man with Rodriguez came out the speakers. It will play part in Ms. Hillingsø’s work this fall.
Rodriguez was a great inspiration for the the people of South Africa and his songs served as anti-Apartheid anthems. In 2012 a documentary was made of this interesting career and it won both a BAFTA and an Academy Award for Best Documentary.
