The Holiday season is coming up and all the drapings for two month of amazing retail theater is coming out. With the overload of products and the close similarities the wrapping is becoming more and more imported, as the consumer can get whatever they what – whether it is in style or in price segment. So the retailers and brands needs to sell much more the products – they have to sell connivence, dreams and create a somewhat unique feeling of being special. This is one of my favourite parts of the business and apart from the shift in seasons the Holidays are so amazing to follow. I think one of my favourites this season is going to be Burberry’s “From London with Love” staring the 12 year old Mr. Romeo Beckham in an amazing setting similar to a 30’s film musical – you are just waiting for Mr. Fred Astaire and Ms. Ginger Rogers to dance by the London scenery and the soundtrack by Mr. Ed Harcourt “The Way That I Live” has the making of a new classic Holiday tune.
